P5 is painting small size pictures

Several days ago the pupils of P5, Kinyamira Primary School presented on their pictures how they painted their class. On the other hand P6 have just scratched from the walls the old paint and now are ready to give the classroom the second live.

Last week was very intense. Today we paited P5 (fifth grade) in the Primary School Kinyamira. It is one of the poorest school in the area with big number of orphans and vulnerable children. Generally, students in P5 and P6 are the most at risk of dropping out of school. This is so ecause their demands are high and since they are orphans, if no one comes in for support, they end the journey. In this school there are 34 pupils in P5 and 12 inP6. At this stage of development, children have "different ideas that comes to their minds," stop learning and do not seem to the next class (hence dropping out of school). Therefore, these two classes are distinguished in our actions, to encouragethem to be educated and stay in school for a better future. Joy was what did not measure. The kids not only had painting lessons, but also learnt how to work in a group and share responsibilities.
